Marionette figure hand-made by Lorene Byrnes Burns of a "Fairy Godfather." A slip of paper with the word "Fairy Godfather" was taped to the storage bag.
The figure is of a man with sandy-colored hair that has been stitched to the marionette's head. Features have also been stitched into the cloth face. He is wearing a black suit and bowtie, the material for the suit is thin, shiny and rubbery to the touch. On his back is a white mesh material fanned out it looks like wings. From above, the figure is controlled by a wooden T-shaped handle to which it is attached with black strings. The feet and hands are weighted down (from the inside) with ball bearings.
