Object Name Card, Political
Scope & Content 4.75x2.5" card promoting Roy D. Burns for circuit judge. Black ink is printed on white cardstock. A photograph of Roy D. Burns is on the left side of the card and on the right is some information about the candidate. The year this political advertisement card was circulated is unknown. It is a piece that came from his wife Lorene Burns' diaries, it fell out and was collected in a folder. Lorene kept diaries for fifty years and they are found elsewhere in the collection.

The card reads: "ROY D. BURNS Candidate for CIRCUIT JUDGE A Practicing Lawyer for 30 Years. Extensive Trial Court Experience. World War I Veteran. NON-POLITICAL JUDICIARY BALLOT."
